- Officers in the Central / State Government/ Statutory or Autonomous bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings meeting the following conditions:

- Experience in works connected with inland waterways in dredging, river conservancy works, river training, marking of fairway rules and regulations for safety of shipping and navigation.
Pay and Terms
- The post carries Level 12 in the pay matrix as per 7th CPC. The Authority follows Central Government Rules & Regulations in service matters. Leased accommodation and medical reimbursement are provided as per the rules of the Authority. The period of deputation shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years. The post carries all India transfer liability at IWAI offices.
