Reservation Provisions
- 50% of posts in both Rural and Urban Home Guard categories are earmarked for women.
- In the Urban Home Guard category, 50% of vacancies are earmarked for technically skilled candidates. If suitable candidates are not available in one sub-category (technical/non-technical), the vacancy will be filled from the other.
- Of the posts earmarked for women, 5% are reserved for eligible divorced/deserted/widowed women candidates. If such candidates are not available, these posts revert to the general women's quota.
