Application Fee
An application registration fee of ₹500 is applicable for General/OBC/EWS candidates. The fee is not applicable for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental candidates. Payment must be made online through Net-Banking or a QR code hosted on the MECL website under the Careers section. The fee, once paid, is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted against any other examination or selection.
The application fee is ₹500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates. It is not applicable for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Departmental candidates.
Age Limit
- All age relaxations are as per applicable Government of India guidelines. There is no relaxation in qualification criteria for internal candidates.

Important Instructions
- Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
- Selected candidates will undergo one year of training and may be posted at any MECL Project/Office/Establishment in India.
- The appointee will be on probation for one year, extendable by up to one further year at the discretion of the Appointing Authority.
- Executives/Executive Trainees must serve a minimum of 36 months after joining; a retention deduction of ₹5,000 per month will be made from salary, refundable (without interest) on completion of 36 months' service.
- A service bond of ₹1.8 lakh must be executed to serve the company for a minimum of 36 months.
- Appointment is subject to the candidate being declared medically fit by a Government Medical Officer/CMO of a Government Hospital, covering parameters such as vision, hearing, cardiovascular health, and more.
- Category certificates must be valid as of the crucial date (01.08.2026); UPSC ESE 2024 category status does not automatically apply to MECL's process.
- Candidates working in Central/State Government, PSUs, autonomous bodies, or nationalized banks must apply through proper channel or furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of document verification.
- MECL reserves the right to increase, decrease, or not fill any of the advertised vacancies, or to cancel, restrict, enlarge, modify, or withdraw the recruitment process at any stage, without prior notice.
