- Applications should be sent by post to reach The Registrar, Mahatma Gandhi University, Priyadarsini Hills P.O., Kottayam – 686560 within 15 days from the date of the notification (12 October 2026), making the last date 27 October 2026. Candidates must submit applications on white paper along with self-attested copies of relevant documents to prove qualifications, age, and experience, together with a valid Caste Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate. The application must also include two mobile numbers and an e-mail address. The envelope must be superscribed as “Application for the post of Co-Ordinator on Contract in the School of Food Science and Technology.”
Educational Qualification
- The candidate should be an eminent scholar with a Ph.D in Food Science and Nutrition or a relevant discipline.
- Actively engaged in research with a minimum of 10 publications in national or international journals with a high impact factor.
- Contribution to educational innovations, designing new curriculum and courses, and experience in technology-mediated teaching-learning processes.
Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of teaching experience in a University or college and/or experience in research at University or National level institutions or industries, including experience in guiding students for research at the doctoral level.

- Candidates must belong to the E/B/T category to be eligible to apply.
- Applications must include a valid Caste Certificate and Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) Certificate.
