Application Fee
The application fee is Rs. 1000/- for UR and OBC candidates, while it is Rs. 500/- for SC and ST candidates.
Age Limit
- The applicant's age shall not be more than 35 years for the post of Assistant Professor/Assistant Librarian, with age relaxations applicable for bonafide residents of Chhattisgarh belonging to SC, ST, OBC, women, and Divyang categories as per C.G. Govt. rules.
- The maximum age limit for appointment to the post of Dean shall be 62 years as on the last date for submission of application.

| Assistant Librarian | Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks, consistent good academic record, knowledge of computerization, and cleared NET/SLET/SET. | Desirable: Experience in library/documentation work and evidence of contribution. |
Pay and Terms
- The appointed candidates shall be governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS) introduced by the State Government of Chhattisgarh and adopted by the Vishwavidyalaya. The appointment for the post of Dean shall be on a tenure basis for a period up to 05 years or till attaining the age of superannuation (62 years), whichever is earlier. Assistant Professors and Assistant Librarians will be on probation for three years, during which allowances along with the stipend shall be received as a Government/Vishwavidyalaya Servant, and confirmation is subject to successful completion of probation.

- Educational qualification certificates and mark sheets/transcripts (from Higher Secondary onwards)
- NET/SLET/SET certificate or Ph.D. exemption certificate conforming to UGC Regulations (Annexure-I or Annexure-II)
- Caste certificate issued by a competent authority (for SC/ST/OBC candidates of Chhattisgarh)
- Non-creamy layer certificate of the current year (for OBC candidates)
- Domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh (for reservation and age relaxation benefits)
- UDID certificate (for Persons with Disabilities)
- Experience certificate given by the employer
- Research publications, books, book chapters, and presentation proofs (first page showing title, author, date, publisher/journal)
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) from present employer (for in-service candidates)
Important Instructions
- Category (UR/SC/ST/OBC/PWD) once filled in the online application form cannot be changed.
- Applications not deposited with the requisite application fee will be automatically rejected.
- OBC candidates must upload a non-creamy layer certificate of the current year issued by a competent authority.
- Applications lacking uploaded authentic certificates, degrees, mark sheets, transcripts, or documentary proofs in support of academic qualifications will be rejected.
- Selected candidates will be posted at any Horticulture College and Research Stations and will not be transferred before completion of the probation period.
- Applicants applying for multiple posts must submit a separate online application for each post and pay a separate fee.
- Any type of influencing or canvassing will be treated as a disqualification.
