MoPSW Deputy Director Eligibility Criteria – MoPSW Deputy Director Qualification

| Deputy Director (Engineering) | Officers under the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Administrations or Major Ports or public sector undertakings, or autonomous bodies or universities or recognized research organizations possessing: (a)(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in parent cadre or department; or (ii) with 5 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-10 (Rs. 56,100 - 1,77,500) in the pay matrix or equivalent in parent cadre or department; and (b) possessing Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or Institute; and (c) 5 years experience in the field of: (i) Design, construction and maintenance of Civil Engineering works including Harbour Engineering; or (ii) Maintenance and operation of different types of cranes, diesel locos, marine engines, winches and auxiliary machinery in a mechanical or marine workshop or organisation. |

- The period of deputation including short-term contract in another ex-cadre post held immediately prior to this appointment in the same or any other organisation or department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.

- Complete and up-to-date ACRs/APARs for the last 5 years attested by an Under Secretary or equivalent officer
- Vigilance clearance certificate
- Cadre clearance and certificate ensuring immediate relieving upon selection
- Certificate regarding imposition of penalties (no major/minor penalties in the last 10 years)
- Integrity certificate
MoPSW Deputy Director Important Instructions
- Candidates applying for the post will not be allowed to withdraw their candidature subsequently.
- Incomplete applications, applications received after the closing date, or applications not received through proper channel will be summarily rejected.
- The cut-off date for determining eligibility will be the last date for receipt of nominations in the Ministry (60th day from the publication date in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar).
- Departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion are not eligible for deputation consideration, and deputationists are not eligible for promotion.
- Officers already on deputation must have their applications forwarded by their parent cadre/department along with required clearances.
