About NBRC
- National Brain Research Centre is a Deemed University at Manesar, Gurugram, Haryana. This position belongs to the DBT funded project "Role of Pax6(+) cortical progenitors in the etiology of Autism Spectrum Disorder". The Project Investigator is Dr. Dhananjay Huilgol of BRIC-NBRC.

Essential Qualification
- Ph.D. in Science or Engineering, or an M.D./M.S. degree in any area of medicine
- Research interests in Development and Neuroscience
- A good academic record with at least one first-author publication arising from PhD work
Desirable Experience
- Preferred: cell culture, primary culture, biochemistry, and molecular biology including CRISPR- or shRNA-mediated gene manipulation
- A valuable addition: animal handling, confocal microscopy, and lentivirus or Adeno Associated Virus-mediated genetic manipulation

Service Conditions
- The tenure is one year, renewable for two more years upon successful review of performance.
- The post is co-terminus with the project.
- The job contract is regulated by the terms of the project and the prevailing rules and procedure followed at NBRC.
