Verify before you fill choices. MCC’s seat matrix verification ran October 10-12, 2026, ahead of Round 1 registration. The seat matrix is the basis for your choice list, so check the one released for the specific round.
Use the right matrix. The NMC’s 2026-27 PG seat matrix is out, but it is not the final updated seat position, and it differs from the MCC counselling matrix used for allotment. Don’t estimate seat availability from older or separate matrices.
Mind the Round 1 deadlines. Registration and payment run October 12-21, and choice filling and locking run October 13-22.
Results and reporting. The Round 1 result is due October 24, and physical reporting to allotted colleges runs October 26 to November 2.
Keep documents ready. You need originals plus self-attested copies, including the NEET PG 2026 admit card and NBEMS scorecard, for online submission and physical verification.

Visit the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in.
Open the PG Medical Counselling section.
Find the Current Events section.
Select the All India Quota, Deemed University, Central Internal Quota or DNB seat matrix.
Open the relevant seat-matrix PDF.
Check the institution, branch, quota and category-wise seat availability.
Download or save the PDF for reference during counselling.
