Application Fee
Candidates applying for Nursing Officer must pay an application fee of Rs. 500/- via Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Director, North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy" payable at Shillong.
Persons with Disabilities (PWD/PH) and candidates applying for posts filled on a deputation basis are exempt from paying any application fee.
Age Limit
- Age relaxation and reservation benefits are admissible to SC, ST, OBC, EWS, PWD, and serving government employees in accordance with orders issued by the Central Government from time to time. Candidates claiming relaxation must produce valid original certificates in the prescribed Government of India format at the time of interview. OBC candidates must produce a latest Non-Creamy Layer Certificate.
- The age limit is not exceeding 30 years for Nursing Officer, and not exceeding 56 years for Deputy Director (Administration) and Assistant Administrative Officer, calculated as on the closing date of receipt of applications.

- North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH) is an autonomous institute established under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. It is situated at Mawdiangdiang, Shillong, Meghalaya – 793018, providing education, healthcare, and research facilities in Ayurveda and Homoeopathy systems of medicine.

- Applications in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of certificates, mark sheets, testimonials, two recent passport size photographs, and the requisite Demand Draft (where applicable) must reach the following postal address on or before 07 December 2026:

- Essential Qualification & Experience: Degree of a recognized university, with 10 years experience in Administration/Establishment out of which 5 years should be in a supervisory capacity.
- Desirable: Degree/PG Diploma in Management.
- Deputation Terms: Persons from Central/State Government/Autonomous bodies holding an analogous post; or with 5 years service in Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400; or with 7 years service in Grade Pay of Rs. 4,800/4,600; and possessing the educational qualifications mentioned above.

- Mode of Recruitment: By Direct Recruitment failing which by deputation.

- Essential Qualification (any one of the following): B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized institute or University, OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council recognized institute or University; AND registered as a Nurse or Nurse & Midwife with State/Indian Nursing Council; OR, B.Sc Nursing (AYUSH) from an AYUSH recognized Institute/University; AND registered in the respective State/Indian AYUSH Nursing Council; OR, Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council; AND registered as Nurse or Nurse & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council; AND two years experience in a minimum 25-bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification; OR, Diploma in Nursing & Pharmacy of AYUSH and registered in the respective State/Indian AYUSH Nursing Council; AND two years experience in a minimum 25-bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification.
