- Affix a recent passport size photograph and fill in all the columns except those that do not apply.
- Attach attested copies of ACRs/APAR for the last five years, plus self-attested copies of proof of age/date of birth, educational qualifications, experience certificates and other relevant documents.
- Programmer direct recruitment applicants attach a Demand Draft/Indian Postal Order of Rs. 300/- in favour of Director, NIHFW, payable at New Delhi, and give its details (post office/bank, number and date, amount) on the form.
- Have the forwarding office fill in the certificate at the bottom of the proforma. It confirms that the official is clear from the vigilance point of view and that no disciplinary case is pending or contemplated.

- (b) training in cash and accounts work in the ISTM or equivalent course, and two years' experience of cash, accounts and budget work.
- Age: not more than 56 years as on closing date.

Programmer
- (a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis, or (ii) with 2 years' service in the grade on regular basis in Pay Band-2, Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200 (pre-revised), Pay Level 6 or equivalent; and
- (b) possessing the educational qualifications and experience prescribed for direct recruits.

- (i) Master's Degree in Computer Applications / Information Technology / Computer Science of a recognized University/Institute; or B.E./B.Tec. in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / Computer Technology / Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology from a recognized University/Institute; and
- (ii) two years' experience in Web Development / Management in a Government Office/PSU/Autonomous Body/Statutory Body or in any recognized Institution.
- Age for direct recruits: not exceeding 30 years. This is relaxable up to five years for Government servants and regularly appointed officers/staff of NIHFW. It is relaxable for SCs/STs and other categories in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Government.
- Note 1: Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority, for reasons to be recorded in writing, for candidates otherwise well qualified.
- Note 2: The experience qualification is relaxable at the discretion of the Competent Authority for SC/ST candidates. This applies if, at any stage of selection, the Authority finds that enough candidates from these communities with the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill the posts reserved for them.
- Deputation: open to officers under the Central Government/State Govts./Recognised Research Institutes/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Govt. Autonomous or Statutory organizations who meet both conditions below.
- Direct recruitment: applications under the direct recruitment method will be considered only if no suitable candidate is available on deputation basis. The educational and other qualifications are the same for direct recruits and deputationists, except age.
Pay and Service Terms
- For all three posts, the period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed three years. This includes any period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately before this appointment, in the same or another organization/department of the Central Government.
- Candidates appointed will be governed by the New Contributory Pension Scheme effective from 01.01.2004.
- Day-to-day work is done on computers (e-office). Preference will be given to candidates with operational knowledge of computers.
- All qualifications must be from a recognized University/Institution. Working experience counts only after the essential qualification was acquired, and it must be completed by the last date for submitting applications. Candidates should check the official notification for the full eligibility conditions of each post.
