Essential Requirements
- A Master Degree from a recognized University.
- Operational computer knowledge.
- 6 years' experience preferably in Govt./PSU/Autonomous Bodies in the relevant area in Pay Level-8/Pay Level-9 or its equivalent.

- MBA/LLB/Diploma in Management/CA/ICWA/SAS or equivalent.
Rules on Qualification and Experience
- The applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Qualifications should have been obtained through recognized Universities or Institutions.
- Experience in the relevant area is counted after the date of acquiring the minimum prescribed educational qualifications.
- Experience on part-time basis, casual/daily wages, as free lancers and the like is not counted for short listing.
- A candidate claiming an equivalent qualification must produce the order or letter, with number and date, showing the authority under which it is so treated. Otherwise the claim will not be considered and the application is liable to be rejected.

- The Manager shall be responsible for these duties in the assigned functional area:
Service Conditions
- Pay and allowances: the post carries basic pay and usual allowances, including Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Transport Allowance (TA), as admissible to employees of Central Autonomous Bodies.
- Increment: an employee is eligible for annual increment as per rules.
- Other benefits: Leave, New Pension Scheme, reimbursement of Medical Expenses, Leave Travel Concession, Children Education Allowance and Newspaper allowance are available as per Rules.
- Posting: the appointment will be at the NIOT Headquarters at Chennai. Appointees are liable to be posted to any field unit of NIOT in India on administrative exigencies.
- Probation: two years from the date of taking over charge of the post. It may be extended at the discretion of the Competent Authority, and confirmation is considered after successful completion, in accordance with the extant rules.

- Any other document establishing eligibility.
- Originals of the uploaded documents must be produced at verification. A document in a language other than Hindi or English needs a self-attested transcript.
Other Conditions
- Candidature or appointment will be cancelled without further notice if a candidate does not meet the essential qualifications or age, does not produce original documents for verification, or furnishes false documents.
- Any discrepancy between the application and the original documents makes a candidate ineligible for the interview.
- A selected candidate who has applied for posts in other organizations must intimate those details immediately after joining NIOT.
