- Qualification: Post Graduate degree (M.Sc) in Basic/Life Science preferably in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Zoology/Microbiology/Bioinformatics with minimum 55% marks; Master in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc) with specialization in Animal Biochemistry/Animal Biotechnology/Veterinary Microbiology/Animal Physiology
- Age limit: Maximum 35 years (as on the date of interview)

- No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
Desirable
- NET/GATE/CSIR-UGC qualified candidates will be given preference
- Knowledge of basic molecular and analytical techniques, cell culture, gene and protein expression, and cancer biology

Pay and Terms of Engagement
- Three years or up to completion of project, whichever is earlier.
- Initially for 06 months, likely to be extended subject to satisfactory performance and/or co-terminus with project tenure.
- Engagement is contractual, purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
- No claim for any form of regular appointment under OUAT or Government.
- Engagement may be terminated at any time without notice or assigning any reason.
- Candidates may leave by giving one-month notice to the PI.
How Will OUAT Select Candidates?

- Candidates report by 2 PM for verification of documents before the interview at 02.30 PM.
Documents to Enclose
- Application in the Annexure-I format, duly signed
- All original certificates and mark sheets from matriculation to post-graduation
- A set of attested photocopies of each certificate and mark sheet, and age proof
- Two recent passport size photographs
- Updated bio-data
- Experience certificates, and a no objection certificate from the present employer, if any

- Any change to the schedule will be notified on the OUAT website, www.ouat.ac.in.
- No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
- Concealing facts or canvassing in any form leads to disqualification or termination even after appointment.
- Failure to maintain discipline or official protocol, or to perform assigned duties, makes the candidate liable to termination.
