PTC India Limited, formerly known as Power Trading Corporation of India Limited, was formed in 1999 as a Government of India initiative to encourage market-based investment in the Indian power sector. It is managed by a Board of Directors that includes representatives of the Promoter Companies and Independent Directors. Its stock is listed on major stock exchanges in India. The registered office is at 2nd Floor, NBCC Tower, 15 Bhikaji Cama Place, New Delhi - 110066.

The annual turnover criterion of Rs. 2000 crores for candidates working with SPSEs has been removed.
Applicants have been given an extended period of 30 days to submit their applications, ending on 11 November 2026.
All other eligibility criteria advertised in July 2026 remain unchanged.
Candidates who already applied for the EVP positions against the July 2026 advertisement need not apply again.

The re-advertisement invites candidates with demonstrated experience in any of these domains:
An applicant may apply on the strength of up to three domains. The applicant must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed for the position.
