SYLLABUS FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STATE COUNCIL OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING MIZORAM : AIZAWL © SCERT, Aizawl 2018 Copies : 1000 Price: Note: The SCERT reserves the right to amend Syllabi and Courses as and when it deems necessary. The schools are required to strictly follow the syllabi and textbooks prescribed by the SCERT from time to time for the academic sessions and the examinations thereof. No deviation is permissible. Printed at: Published by the SCERT, Aizawl FOREWORD The enactment of the Right to Education Act 2009 mandated the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Mizoram as Academic Authority for Elementary Education in Mizoram which involves the task of developing the curriculum, textb ooks and evaluation procedures. To fulfill one of the duties as the Academic Authority, new textbooks have been developed for Elementary Schools based on National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2005 and adaptation/translation of NCERT textbook s which have been in use since 2014.
