Printed at: Published by the SCERT, Aizawl iii FOREWORD With the enactment of the Right to Education Act 2009, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Mizoram was declared as an Academic Authority for Elementary Education for Mizoram. This involves the task of developing the curriculum, syllabus, textbooks and assessment and evaluation. In pursuance of the tasks, SCERT published Syllabus for Primary School in 2015, which is now revised and updated. This book contains relevant information - subjects to be taught and contents of textbooks being prescribed for use.
