About TISS
- TISS is located at V.N. Purav Marg, Deonar, Mumbai, and is declared a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. Prayas, the project behind this recruitment, is a field action project of its Centre for Criminology and Justice, initiated in 1990. It responds to the needs of disadvantaged groups who come in contact with the Criminal Justice System. It aims to facilitate the socio-legal and economic rehabilitation of persons at risk of criminalisation, exploitation in commercial sex, and those living in destitute conditions.

TISS Female Social Worker Eligibility 2026

- Nature of appointment: On contract basis, initially for a period of 01 year.
