Bharathiar University NSS Programme Co-ordinator Eligibility 2026
- Age limit: Not more than 50 years of age at the time of selection as Programme Co-ordinator.
Qualifications and experience, as printed in the notice
- Associate Professor / Senior Assistant Professor in the University or Affiliated College.
- Principal of an Affiliated College, of the status of Associate Professor, with NSS background.
- Must have been a Programme Officer (NSS) for at least three years.
- Must have undergone NSS orientation in a Training and Orientation Centre (TOC) / Training, Orientation & Research Centre (TORC).
- Language: Knowledge of Tamil to the extent of carrying out official correspondence and drafting reports.
Marks and relaxations
- SC/ST candidates get a relaxation of 5%, from 55% to 50% of the marks at the Master's level.
- Ph.D. degree holders who passed their Master's Degree before 19 September 1991 get a relaxation of 5%, from 55% to 50% of the marks.
- Where the grading system is followed, Grade 'B' on the seven-point scale with UGC letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F is regarded as equivalent to 55%.

Service Conditions
- The tenure is three years.
- The selected candidate must join duty immediately and enter into an agreement with the University, in accordance with its laws, on joining the post.

- Fill in the application in all respects, along with the Information Sheet that must accompany each application.
- Attach the Demand Draft for the fee.
- Enclose copies of the documents listed below, with supporting evidence for all information given in the form.
- Prepare eight copies and address them to the Registrar (by designation only), Bharathiar University, Coimbatore – 641 046.
- Candidates in service must apply through proper channel. If there is a delay, they may send seven advance copies to the Registrar, but their application will be considered only if it is forwarded through proper channel and received in time.
