CDO Uttarkashi Ombudsman Important Instructions
- Any member of a political party or affiliated organisation is not eligible to apply.
- Applicants must submit a declaration regarding non-involvement in political parties and criminal cases.
- Applications received after 28 October 2026 (5:00 PM) will not be considered under any circumstances.
- The tenure is for 2 years or up to 68 years of age, whichever is earlier, and can be extended year by year for up to two years based on work performance.
- Re-appointment is not permitted.
- The state government may remove the Ombudsman based on unsatisfactory work performance upon the selection committee's recommendation.
