About Jamia Hamdard
- Jamia Hamdard (JH) is a Deemed to be University at Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi, declared by the Government of India, Ministry of Education, vide Gazette Notification dated 10th May, 1989. The notice describes it as a research-oriented organisation. This engagement is for the School of Allied Health Sciences and Research (SAHSR).
Posts and Eligibility

Essential Qualification
- B.Sc and M.Sc. degree in the relevant/core subject with minimum 55% marks from a recognized institution or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
- NET or a doctorate degree in the concerned subject from a recognized University.
- Candidates having a PG degree (min. 55% marks) in Core Paramedical Subjects are exempted from the NET/Ph.D. condition as per UGC Regulations 2018.
- The notice says qualifications should be from a UGC recognized University/Institution only.
Desirable Qualification
- Two years teaching and/or research experience in a recognized Institution in the discipline/subject concerned.
