- Candidates who claim that their qualification is equivalent must produce a valid Equivalency Certificate issued by the competent authority at the time of verification. If they do not, their candidature will be rejected. Applicants must also meet the eligibility criteria prescribed under PMIS and the criteria for the internship they apply for.
Who Is Not Eligible
- Graduates/Postgraduates from IITs, IIMs, National Law Universities, IISER, NIDs, IIITs and IISc.
- Those having qualifications such as CA, CMA, CS, MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MBA or equivalent, MPhil and PhD.
- Those undergoing any skill, apprenticeship, internship or training program under Central Government or State Government schemes.
- Those who have completed apprenticeship or training under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) or the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) at any point.
- Candidates where the income of any family member exceeded Rs 12 lakh in the preceding FY, as on the date of submission of the application. Here, "Family" means Self, Parents and Spouse.
- Candidates where any member of the family is a permanent/regular government employee.
- Under the notice, the following candidates are ineligible:

Pay and Tenure
- No travel expenses are paid for attending certificate verification or during the internship period.

- Completing the internship does not give any right or claim to employment in CPCL.
- All 12 internships pay a stipend of Rs. 9000 Per Month Including DBT. Each internship lasts Nine (9) Months under the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS).
