- The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) is a Deemed to be University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. It is in Girinagar, Pune, under the Department of Defence Research & Development, Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. Senior Research Fellow (SRF) – Desirable
- Knowledge of Deep Learning, Data Mining, times Series Analysis, Digital Signal Processing/Machine Learning/Python programming/Thermal Image Processing/Deep Learning.
- Knowledge of python libraries scikit-learn, pytorch, transformers, keras, tensorflow, tkinter etc. and ML algorithms.
- Qualifications and experience must come from recognised Universities/Institutions/Industries. The prescribed educational qualification is the bare minimum. Having it does not mean a candidate will be considered at every stage of selection. For the discipline-specific eligibility of each post, candidates should check the official notification.
Pay and Tenure
- Besides the monthly stipend, fellows get medical facilities, limited to MI Room facilities.
- Fellows who are recruited will be encouraged to register for a Ph.D. at DIAT through proper channels, as per DIAT norms.
- Being offered the SRF or JRF position gives no right to absorption in DIAT (DU), Pune.
