- Candidates must meet the following educational qualifications and age criteria:
Eligibility
- 1. Post Graduate Degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences with NET/GATE/ ICMR/ any other National Eligibility Tests; OR
- 2. Post Graduate Degree in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Life Sciences.
Desired Skills
- Research experience in the field of molecular biology techniques, handling animal cell culture and bioinformatics with scientific writing and good communication skills.
Pay and Tenure
- A. For candidates having qualifications (as per DST, GoI, Office memorandum SR/S9/Z-08 /2018 Dt. 30/01/2019) mentioned at no. 1: The fellowship as per GSBTM will be Rs. 31,000/- + HRA (The candidate will be paid 20% HRA of previous fellowship Rs. 25,000/- (as per DST, GoI, Office memorandum SR/S9/Z-09 /2012 Dt. 21/10/2014)).
- B. For candidates having qualifications mentioned at no. 2: The fellowship as per GSBTM will be Rs. 23,213/- Fixed (HRA will not be entitled).
- The positions will be purely on a contractual basis initially for 1 year and extendable to one more year or until the completion of project whichever is earlier, subject to satisfactory performance of the candidate.
