Candidates need Counsellor (Post Code 601): Master's degree (with 50%) in Psychology (Clinical or Counselling) or Social Work (Medical & Psychiatric) with practical experience; 5 years' counselling experience, Junior Engineer (Civil) (Post Code 602): Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with first class and at least 5 years of field experience, OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with first class and at least 8 years of field experience and A Master's degree (with 50%) in Psychology (Clinical or Counselling) or Social Work (Medical & Psychiatric) with practical experience is required. - The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Mohali is an Institute of National Importance in Punjab. Counsellor
- Educational qualification: Master's degree (with 50%) in Psychology (Clinical or Counselling) or Social Work (Medical & Psychiatric) with practical experience.
- Experience: 5 years' experience in counselling students with regard to their academic and psychosocial and emotional issues in any reputed academic Institute or a reputed organization.
- The single post is for the Unreserved (UR) category.
Junior Engineer (Civil)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with first class from a recognized University / Institute, with at least 5 years of field experience in Civil works of construction / maintenance / renovation of building projects.
- OR Diploma in Civil Engineering with first class from a recognized University / Institute, with at least 8 years of field experience in the same kind of Civil works.
- Under both options, the experience is preferably in organizations / firms dealing with works as per CPWD / PWD / Govt. norms.
- The single post is for the OBC category. The OBC-NCL certificate should have been issued within 2 years of the last date of receipt of the application, in the Government of India format.

What Happens on the Day
- Candidates report at 09:30 a.m. on 16 November 2026, and the interview is at 10:00 a.m. Only candidates reporting well on time on the schedule are considered for the hiring process. Candidates reporting after the schedule are not eligible to take part. The selection is described in the notice as a walk-in interview.
Important Instructions
- Applicants must be fully satisfied about their eligibility before attending; no query on eligibility criteria will be entertained.
- The appointment is on contract. The selected person is not entitled to any benefit, compensation, absorption or regularization of service in the Institute.
