MAMC Senior Resident Eligibility 2026
- Age limit: The upper age limit shall be 45 years as on the date of interview, subject to applicable rules of the Government of NCT of Delhi.
Mandatory requirements
- M.B.B.S. with a postgraduate degree (MS/DNB) in General Surgery and/or a valid degree in the concerned superspeciality (M.Ch./DNB) from a recognized university, as applicable.
- Valid Delhi Medical Council (DMC) registration at the time of interview/joining.

Service Conditions
- Nature of appointment: Ad-hoc basis.
- Tenure: 44 days or until the regular incumbent/M.Ch. Resident Trainee joins, whichever is earlier.
- Leaving early: There will be a notice period of one week for candidates wishing to terminate the contract before completion of the tenure.
- Duties: All appointees will be required to perform duties as per the residency scheme.
- Leave: Two and a half days per completed calendar month, as per the relevant Office Memorandum under the CCS (Leave) Rules, 1972.
- Place of work: Department of Pediatric Surgery, Maulana Azad Medical College and Associated Lok Nayak Hospital, New Delhi.
