- NIT Delhi will not provide accommodation under the ANRF (PM-ECRG) project's terms. House Rent Allowance is paid instead, as per ANRF guidelines.
NIT Delhi Project Associate-I Eligibility 2026 – Essential Qualification
- Four years B. Tech. Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering/Computer Science Engineering with first division/class.
Desirable Qualification
- Wireless Communications, Digital Signal Processing
- MATLAB and Python
- Machine Learning and Deep Learning
- Scientific writing and documentation
- Publications or project experience in communication systems or AI
- Embedded Systems/SDR/FPGA

Job Description
- Assist in algorithm development and simulation for wireless communication research.
- Implement software modules in MATLAB/Python.
- Support hardware experimentation using SDR/FPGA platforms.
- Maintain project records, technical documentation and software repositories.
- Assist in organising workshops, demonstrations and dissemination activities.
- Contribute to research publications, patents and progress reports.

Service Conditions
- The first appointment is for one year. It may be extended every year, up to a maximum of three (3) years, if performance is satisfactory and the project needs it.
- The position is purely temporary and lasts only as long as the project (co-terminus). It gives no claim to regular or permanent employment at the Institute.
- The appointment may be for a time-bound project, and the candidate must work with dedication to complete it successfully.
- The selected candidate may be encouraged to enrol for a Ph.D. This depends on the Institute's PhD ordinance and on whether PhD positions are available, or on the admission process at NIT Delhi.
- All terms and conditions follow ANRF guidelines and Institute norms.
