About PGIMER Labour Officer
- According to the notice, the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh, is an Institute of National Importance under an Act of Parliament. It provides medical treatment to patients of the surrounding areas and regions besides academic courses for doctors, and has a sanctioned strength of about 7500 Group B and C employees.
- Because of this large workforce, the institute needs a Labour Officer to deal with the day-to-day labour problems. Where and How to Send
- Fill the prescribed proforma for the post of Labour Officer (Pay Level-10) on deputation basis, which is available on the official website of the Institute (it is also printed as the last page of the notice).
- Paste your latest passport size photograph in the box on the proforma and sign it.
- Attach attested copies of your ACR/APARs for the preceding five years.
- Submit the application to the Head of your Department/Organization for forwarding.
- The forwarding authority must ensure that no departmental/disciplinary proceedings are pending or being contemplated against you and furnish a certificate to this effect, along with an experience certificate in respect of your job profile.
- The application is addressed to: The Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh, and must reach by 7 December 2026.
- The PGIMER Labour Officer application is not sent directly by the candidate. It goes through the officer's own employer:
- If the application cannot be sent through proper channel before the last date, an advance copy may be sent, accompanied by APARs for the preceding five years duly certified by the competent authority. The candidature will be considered only after the application is received through proper channel.
