Detail	Why It Matters
Candidate name and registration number	Confirms the slip belongs to you
Exam city and state	Helps you plan travel and stay
Exam date	Falls within 6 to 9 October 2026
Shift timing	Tells you which shift you are allotted
Reporting time and gate closing time	Reported on the slip by one source; confirm on the e-call letter
Instructions	Aadhaar, ID and exam-day rules

After downloading the slip, verify these details. The sources reviewed do not fully agree on whether the reporting time and gate closing time appear on the city slip itself, so confirm them from the e-call letter.

The city slip is not your e-call letter and does not permit you to appear in the exam.
As stated in the instructions on the slip, there will be no change of exam date, city, shift or centre under any circumstances.
Carry your Aadhaar card along with other ID proof. Aadhaar-enabled biometric verification will be done at the exam centre.
Authenticate your Aadhaar by logging in at rrbapply.gov.in beforehand, if not already done, even if you verified it at the application stage.
Keep your Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system before you reach the exam centre.
Your Aadhaar should carry the correct name, date of birth (as per Class 10 certificate), latest photograph, biometrics (if not updated after age 15), address and father's name.
Follow only official RRB websites for updates and avoid touts who promise jobs for money. Selection is based on CBT merit.
