Pay and Tenure
- Legal Researchers receive a fixed honorarium of Rs. 50,000/- per month without any dearness or other allowance/perquisite. The engagement is for a term up to 2 years, with initial engagement made for six months subject to satisfactory performance. Proportionate reduction of honorarium applies for unauthorized absence or absence beyond permissible leave.
RSLSA Legal Researcher Job Description
- To prepare various reports, schemes, and monitor progress of ongoing activities.
- To analyze, evaluate, and research on various subjects of daily use, preparation of study material for seminars, workshops, conferences, and trainings.
- To carry out research work on law and legal issues including various judgments of Hon'ble Supreme Court, Hon'ble High Courts, and other forums.
- To assist in outreach and awareness activities.
- To assist in drafting agenda, meeting notes, concept notes, and reports on schemes and programmes.
- To supervise and conduct field surveys and prepare analytical reports with analysis of data.
- To work with the office of Hon'ble Executive Chairman, RSLSA and provide day-to-day activities as per directions.
- To do academic, administrative, research, and other work directed by the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority.
- Without adversely affecting the generality of work, the Legal Researcher performs the following duties under the direct control of the Member Secretary and other officers of RSLSA:

- Affix a recently taken (not later than six months) colored passport-size photograph with your own signature thereon on the application form.
- Attach self-attested copies of all documents in support of age, educational qualifications, extracurricular activities, and experience.
- Furnish a checklist along with the application form detailing the enclosed certificates and testimonials.
- Submit a signed undertaking on the prescribed proforma stating that during engagement you will not practice in any court of law or engage in any other professional pursuit.
- Pack the application in an envelope marked clearly with "APPLICATION FOR THE LEGAL RESEARCHER".
