- While on deputation, officers may elect to draw either the pay in the scale of pay of the post in KDS, SMPK or their basic pay in the parent organization plus deputation allowance (5% or 10% of basic pay subject to ceilings). Cafeteria allowance up to 35% of Basic Pay is applicable if opting for the KDS pay scale. HRA is payable at rates prevailing in Kolkata Dock System, SMPA.

- Proof of present and past work experience with regularisation details if applicable
- Administrative / No Objection Certificate from the competent authority (Annexure-IV)

- Vigilance comments / clearance certificate in the prescribed pro-forma (Annexure-V)
- Two self-attested passport size photographs
SMP SMP Dy Personnel Officer Important Instructions
- The crucial date for determining eligibility is 30 October 2026.
- Deputation will be initially for three (03) years, further extendable by 02 more years.
- If advance copies are sent, the application through proper channel must reach within 15 days of the last date, i.e., by 14 November 2026.
- Incomplete applications or those received after the due date will be rejected.
- If any major or minor penalty has been imposed during the last 10 years, disciplinary details and CVC-format vigilance report must be sent by the forwarding authority.
