For candidates with a Ph.D. from SVNIT Surat, a three-year inbreeding gap between Ph.D. notification and the application deadline applies (not applicable to existing SVNIT faculty).
Pay and Terms
- The post carries Pay Level 14A of the Pay Matrix, with basic pay ranging from ₹159,100 to ₹220,200 per month along with admissible allowances. All appointments are made on probation for a period of one year, wherever applicable. On successful completion and confirmation, appointees hold office until the age of superannuation specified by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.
- Additional benefits include Cumulative Professional Development Allowance (CPDA), provision for industrial consultancy, children's tuition fee reimbursement up to Class XII, LTC, medical facilities for self and dependent family, campus accommodation with nominal licence fee or HRA, coverage under the National Pension System (NPS-2004), and reimbursement of telephone and data charges.
