Important Instructions
- The engagement can be terminated at any time by one month's notice on either side. It can also be terminated forthwith, or before the notice period expires, by paying a sum equal to one month's contractual amount.
- A candidate will not be permitted to surrender one month's contractual amount in lieu of the unexpired notice period, and must serve the full period of notice.
- A contract appointee has no claim on a regular post in the institute, the funding agency or any Department of Government of India. An undertaking to that effect must be submitted at the time of joining.
