Pay and Terms
- Professor: Level-14A (168900-220400) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
- Additional Professor: Level-13A2+ (148200–211400) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
- Associate Professor: Level-13A1+ (138300–209200) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
- Assistant Professor: Level-12 (101500–167400) of 7th CPC plus usual allowances including NPA (if applicable).
- The pay scales for direct recruitment and deputation basis are structured as follows:
- For contractual retired faculty posts, lumpsum remuneration is Rs. 2,20,000/- p.m. for Professor (Consultant) and Rs. 2,00,000/- p.m. for Additional Professor (Consultant). Private practice of any kind, including laboratory and consultant practice, is strictly prohibited.

Important Instructions
- Applications must reach the recruitment cell by 14/11/2026. The envelope must be super-scribed with "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF [Post Name]".
- Age limits are up to 58 years for Professor/Additional Professor and up to 50 years for Associate Professor/Assistant Professor as on the closing date.
- OBC candidates must produce NCL-OBC certificates issued between 01.04.2026 and 31.03.2027.
- Application fee is Rs. 2,000/- for General/OBC/EWS and Rs. 500/- for SC/ST, while PwBD and retired faculty applying on deputation/contract are exempt.
- Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
- Interviews will be held in Gorakhpur only, and no TA/DA will be paid.
