Page 1 of 2 कं दी , संगारेड्डी , तेलंगाना राज्य - 502284 | Kandi, Sangareddy, Telangana State - 502284 June 24, 2026 Advertisement for the post of Research Associate ( RA ) Applications are invited for the post of Research Associate (RA ) at IIT Hyderabad (IITH) in a Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Government of India, sponsored project, under DIA - COE IIT(BHU) Varanasi, titled “Indigenous Development of Large Scale (100 kg) Inert Gas Atomiser” sanctioned for a total duration of 3 years. The post is purely temporary and co - terminu s with the project. PI: Prof. B S Murty, Department of Materials Science and Metallurgical Engineering, IITH Name of Position Research Associate (RA) Number of Positions 01 Duration of the Position Initially for 01 year but extendable up to 3 years or the duration of the project , whichever is earlier based on the performance. Emoluments RA - I: Rs. 58,000 pm for 1 st and 2 nd year . Convertible to RA - II: Rs. 61,000 pm for 3 rd Year . HRA as per GOI norms will be additional .
