Pay and Terms
- All posts advertised under the recruitment notification are contractual in nature. The salary and remunerations are negotiable for deserving candidates. Pay and allowances shall be decided by the University from time to time based on qualifications, experience, and performance of the employee. Appointments shall be subject to the approval of the competent authority and recognition of the ITEP Programme by NCTE, and governed by the Statutes, Ordinances, Rules, and Regulations of Cotton University.
Interview Schedule and Venue
- Tentative Dates of Walk-in-Interview: 31 October 2026 and 2 November 2026
- Reporting Time & Place: 9:00 AM at the Conference Hall, MCB Building, Cotton University
- Candidates must report for the walk-in interview according to the following schedule and location:
Documents Required

- Self-attested copies of all relevant certificates and mark sheets
- Experience certificates

- Caste certificate (where applicable)

Important Instructions
- All posts are contractual in nature.
- Candidates must fulfill the qualifications prescribed by NCTE Regulations 2021, UGC Regulations, and Government of Assam norms wherever applicable.
- The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts or cancel any or all advertisements without assigning any reason.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the interview.
- Reservation of posts shall be as per the Government of Assam and University rules.
- Selected faculty members may be assigned teaching responsibilities in one or more programmes as per University requirements.
- Any suppression of facts or submission of false information will lead to cancellation of candidature.

- Fill out the application form completely and sign it.
- Send a copy of the duly filled and signed application via email to [email protected] on or before 26 October 2026 up to 5:00 PM.
- Prepare the duly filled-in application in the prescribed format along with self-attested copies of all relevant certificates, mark sheets, experience certificates, proof of date of birth, caste certificate (where applicable), and any other relevant testimonials.
- Submit all physical documents during the time of the walk-in interview.
- Bring 2 (two) copies of passport-size photographs during the interview.
