Candidates need Head of the Department (Professor / Associate Professor in Education): Post Graduate degree in Education with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade; M.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade; Ph.D. in Education as prescribed by UGC or NET/SLET qualified. Desirable: Diploma or Degree in Educational Administration or Leadership, Assistant Professor (Liberal Discipline & Pedagogy): Post-Graduate degree in concerned subjects with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade; B.Ed. degree with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade; NET or SLET or Ph.D. in Education or in the concerned subject. Desirable: M.Ed. or M.Ed. with specialization, Ph.D. in Education and Assistant Professor (Educational Studies): Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade; National Eligibility Test (NET) or State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) or Ph.D. in Education or in the concerned subject.
