Who Can Apply – Essential Qualification
- M.Sc. in Physics or B.Tech./B.E. in Physics-related engineering/technical field with a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification experience. OR
- B.Sc. with Physics subject with a minimum of 06 years of post-qualification experience.
- The percentage/grade points with respect to the academic qualification will be a minimum 60% or equivalent grade from graduation onwards and 55% or equivalent grade in class 10th and 12th.
Desirable Qualification and Background
- Experience in teaching Physics to students of grades 8-12 (eg., TGT, PGT, CBSE, IB, IGCSE, ICSE and state boards).
- Good communication and facilitation skills; professional fluency in spoken-written English and spoken Hindi; good digital documentation skills.
- Experience in designing/conducting physical experiments, hands-on activities, use of lab instruments.
- 1 year experience in writing textbook chapters, or making learning modules for grades 8-12 in ed-tech.
- We are seeking a self-driven and creative Physics educator with a strong desire to work in school STEM education through hands-on and inquiry-based learning.

Pay and Tenure
- The consolidated monthly remuneration is Rs 50,000 to 90,000 per month, determined by the qualification and experience of the candidate. House Rent Allowance per month (If applicable) is NA. The duration of the appointment is 1 year under Institute norms.
IITGN Project Associate II (Physics) Job Description
- Create high-quality rigorous hands-on Physics modules for grades 6-12 Physics and update/organise the resource repository.
- Adapt-make-test-optimise the activities/ models/prototypes.
- Documentations of manuals, chapters, worksheets, presentations, videos, articles.
- Convert relevant activity for models ready to use in schools with product specifications.
- Coordinate and conduct the testing of content in schools.
