Paper 1 and Paper 2 Shift Timings

- The JTET examination will be held on 1 November 2026 in two shifts. The first shift is for Upper Primary candidates, while the second shift is for Primary candidates.
- Candidates appearing for both levels should check their admit cards and follow the instructions issued by JAC for each shift.

- According to the examination notice, candidates must reach the examination centre two hours before the examination begins. The main gate will close 30 minutes before the start of each shift.
- Important: The arrival and gate closing times above are calculated from the official two-hour reporting and 30-minute gate-closing requirements. Candidates must also follow their individual admit card instructions.
When and Where to Download?
- The Jharkhand Academic Council has scheduled the JTET Admit Card 2026 download facility from 15 October 2026. Candidates should visit the official JAC website and check whether the admit card link has been activated.
- After downloading the hall ticket, verify the examination level, exam date, shift, centre address and reporting instructions. Candidates must carry a printed admit card to the examination centre.

- The Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test 2026 consists of two papers. Paper 1 is for Primary Level candidates, while Paper 2 is for Upper Primary Level candidates. Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions carrying 150 marks.
What Should Candidates Carry for JTET Exam 2026?
- Printed copy of the JTET Admit Card 2026.
- Original Aadhaar card or identification document as specified in the official instructions.
