Ph.D. or equivalent research degree with records of independent research work shall be preferred. Specialization: Open, Internal Auditor: A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with major in Accountancy; uniformly good academic record; minimum five years' auditing experience in A.G. Office/ Director of local Accounts/ reputed C.A. firm/ auditing and accounting in any University; working knowledge and practical experience in computerized accounting including Tally (Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime) and Assistant Professor (History): high Second-Class Master's Degree in any branch of History with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade, with specialized knowledge of the historical and religious literature and culture of Assam, and NET/SET pass. Internal Auditor: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce with major in Accountancy, uniformly good academic record, five years' auditing experience and working knowledge of Tally. Pay and Terms of Engagement
- All posts shall remain purely temporary till confirmed after a minimum of one year's probation, which may be extended if necessary
- Appointee must join within one month of the appointment order; the Vice-Chancellor may extend this in exceptional circumstances
- Appointee must execute an agreement to abide by the Acts, Statutes, Ordinances, Rules and Regulations of the University
