Who Can Apply
- IRSE officials of SAG/NFSAG/SG level are required for this position.

- Age: the IRSE officer must be not more than 57 years of age as on the last date of submission of application.
- The RITES Group General Manager (Civil) post is filled on deputation from the Indian Railway Service of Engineers. The circular lists these eligibility conditions:
- The application form also asks whether the applicant has been debarred from deputation and whether the cooling-off period has been completed, with the date of return from the previous deputation where applicable.
Pay and Terms
- Pay scale: 7th CPC matrix Level-13 for an IRSE officer with 18 years of Group A service; 7th CPC matrix Level-14 for an IRSE officer.
- Deputation allowance: As per Rly. Board guidelines, the employee is entitled to parent pay plus deputation allowance and other perks as admissible on deputation.
- Accommodation: RITES will be providing Company/Leased Accommodation as per entitlement to the officer who joins RITES on deputation.
- Tenure: The normal tenure of deputation shall be 3 (three) years, which may be extended depending upon the requirement and performance.
- Posting: The post is located at Mumbai. However, the official can be posted anywhere in the Country or abroad as per requirement.
- Exemption from absorption: The Ministry of Railways has approved the continuance of officers on deputation in RITES on exemption from the rule of immediate absorption for a period of three years beyond 31 August 2023, vide letters No. 2008/PL/45/04 Pt. dated 2 August 2024 and 20 December 2024.

- On submission, the system generates a "Registration No." on top of the online form.
- Print the online application form showing the registration number, sign it and attach it to the application in the prescribed format (Annexure III) along with a detailed CV.
- Send the application through your respective administrative officer (HOD). The forwarding letter to the Railways asks willing officials to submit applications well in advance through the Railway Board to ensure timely receipt.
