Frequently asked questions
How does the checker decide?
It looks at every open job notice on the site (last date not passed) and keeps those open to your qualification or a lower one, and whose stated age limit fits your age after your category's relaxation. Notices that do not state an age limit are kept, so check those yourself.
Is the relaxation the same for every job?
No. The years used here are the usual central government rules (OBC 3, SC/ST 5, PwBD 10 more). State governments and some recruiters give different relaxation, and ex-servicemen, women and widows often get extra. The notification of each job is final.
My age is on a cut-off date, not today. What do I enter?
Enter your age in completed years. Each notice fixes its own 'age as on' date; use the Age Calculator to get your exact age on that date when you open a job.
Is my information saved?
No. The checker uses what you enter only to list the jobs and stores nothing.
