Compress PDF (reduce size in KB)
Make a PDF smaller to fit an upload limit such as 100 KB or 1 MB. Free. Works in your browser; your files are not uploaded.

How this works
Each page is drawn, saved as a compressed picture and put back into a new PDF. The tool tries the best quality first and lowers it only as much as needed to reach your limit. Because pages become pictures, the text in the new PDF cannot be selected. Keep your original for that.
Frequently asked questions
How do I reduce a PDF to 200 KB?
Choose your PDF, tap 200 KB (or type any size), then click Compress PDF. Download the result and check its size before uploading.
Will the text still be selectable?
No. To make the file small, each page is turned into a picture inside the PDF. It looks the same on screen and prints fine, but you cannot select or search the text. Keep your original file.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything happens inside your browser on your own device.
Why could it not reach my size?
A PDF with many pages and a very small limit cannot be made that small and stay readable. Try a bigger limit, or split the document.
