Frequently asked questions
How is typing speed (WPM) calculated?
WPM counts every 5 correct characters as one word, divided by the minutes you typed. Wrong characters are not counted, so accuracy matters.
What speed do government typing tests ask for?
It depends on the post and the notification. Common targets are around 30–40 words per minute for English, but always check your official notification.
Is there a Hindi typing test?
Not yet. This test is for English. A Hindi test is planned.
